a shell's emptiness, a hermit's happiness
however i'm swept away by a very sad, sad news today... my college mate, who's dad just returned to HIM and apparently he will not be coming for the whole week but we do hope that we can pay a visit to him on the next day when classes finished earlier...anyway...hai...life's sometimes like a shell emptied and waiting to be returned to the very beginning in the sea and beneath the sands...my dear friend, please bear in mind that no matter what happened, you certainly have this bunch of buddies standing beside you and no matter what, stay strong as i know that i'm not in a position to tell you much but as friends, we'll all pray for you and your family and as times goes by, your dad will definitely be watching you from up above until the very day when you answered HIS call... dont worry about anything for the moment and take good care of yourself and always be strong as your family is in need of your strength.
anyway...BBQ night is just a day away and i'm in charge of our cohort's performance. A showcase and 'parade' about the Greek Gods and Goddesses. well almost everyone of them said it's a fashion show but i certainly won't say so coz it's also kinda like a short skit and it involved some short lines and of course, up-tempo music. boy the preparations and plannings were REALLY tiresome! will tell you guys more in the next post..heehee...so...we actually bought alot of fabric to be fitted on to the models...haha and few of us were actually running here and there to get the materials and we're so busy figuring out what should they wear and what accessories are needed...phew...we even stayed back until 6.45 pm today...thank god its gonna be over tomorrow but i really hope it will turns out well coz we dont even have a proper practice b4...goodness...(fingers crossed) ok la...i think that's all for now coz i have tons of stuff to prepare and i'll try my best to upload some photos frm the BBQ nite so stay tuned! =)

Gone with the wind~ A shell's emptiness
haih...if only i could turn back time...if only i could wait patiently for time to pass...if only i am THE perfect one...if only i never met this guy...if only...
gosh people! i have so much going on in my heart that yearns to be screamed out...people...would you be able to feel the stinging wound of my heart? would you be able to feel the void in me? would you be able to feel what i feel? (tears...)
am i being paranoid? am i too sensitive? am i just another soul that is fated to be locked in my own confusions, my own sorrow? haih...why is everyone so perfect around me...why am i the only guy always made the fool out of himself? well at least that was wat my heart said...sigh...i felt so empty at times...
Lord...i'm wondering if you're really there...i've always sensed you, but this time around...nothing but thin air...
it has been awhile since the last time i really felt like entering to a sleep for eternity...take me home...Lord

Laziness beyond comparison
WengChung here.
Well, the title explains everything. I'm sick. I have the lazy disease... T_T
I don't know is it me or what but I felt so lazy waking up today. It's like I woke up around 8 or 9 then I procrastinated few hours before waking up.
So lazy ler.
So lazy to wake up, lazy to walk, lazy to online, lazy to switch on the tv, lazy to eat, lazy to study... Basically I just sit there staring into nothingness... doing nothing but being lazy.
Any1 have medicine to cure laziness?
Exams is coming on the 21...dreadful... how ler? so lazy...
But since I'm blogging , it's a good sign that I'm fighting off my laziness. I used to be hardworking but I just don't know why I became lazier day by day. Maybe it's boringness. Yeah, blame it on boringness. So, I'm not lazy, I'm bored la, k..
This week nothing much happen. Let me rephrase it. NOTHING happen at all.
Hmm, Business Studies turned into something interesting yesterday. Our teacher start to doubt that our minds were on the other planet because she said we were too quiet and " look" as if we are concentrating. So, she made this new game. We are to think of a new name for ourselves. Our class chosen fruit's names and the other class chosen cartoon's name.
She wrote all the names on the white board after we gave her a list of our names with fruit names . So, how to play the game ?
She will start by calling either a fruit's name or cartoon's name, then that guy who chosen that name earlier will call other people name. Then, the other people who was called will call other people name. Basically, you just continue calling other people without stopping and without repeating the name who was called. It was hilarious coz it's so funny calling people by fruit's name and cartoon's name.
So, who hesitated for a second before calling other people will require to answer a question. The aim of this game is to make us more alert.
If you are confused, let me show you how it's being play.
Teacher: Apple !
Apple: Pikachu!
Pikachu: Mango!
Mango: Sakura !
Sakura: errr...(so he have to answer a question)
It looks easy but ITS NOT ! because sometimes you will forget who are you and you will hesitate to think who you are going to call.
If you pretend that you didn't hear, she will find ur name under the fruit name list that we gave her earlier.
I'm grape by the way. Have a nice and lazy weekend !

A soul to weep...
Gazing at the mirrored me,
I hardly recognize
The soul in me, the truth in me.
It has been years,
Where blissful times had long gone
And those momentous laughter
Had refused to move on,
Leaving me a soul to weep…
Imperfections hammered me down,
Or, at least, that was what my heart said,
Imperfections.
They believed I will be someone,
But someone what?
They said I have something special in me,
But something what?
In my somewhere, sometime,
I dwell and dwell.
A moment of numbed satisfaction,
And then I feel no more.
Will I always be trapped in the untruth promises of my psyche?
And never to reach out for the stars within my reach?
Perhaps, there is someone, something special deep down.
Perhaps, I am fated to veil behind the mask of ignorant,
and painful smiles…
That is going to leave me,
With a soul, to weep…
a decaying soul,

Angry with myself
WengChung here.
Yes, I am very furious with myself this afternoon. I felt like slapping myself awake or even bang my head to the wall millions of time.
Today, there was a Word Search competition. Basically, all I have to do was find 10 new words out of a word that was given to us. For example, from the word COMFORTABLE, we could find the words comfort, for, bat, table etc...
I was reluctant to join actually, the reason is I'm just lazy lol. But I told myself " Why Not?" since none of my classmates are free, or maybe they're just as lazy. So, everyone who joined was given a paper. On that paper , there are 2 words. So we have to find 10 new words from each word given.
The first six students to finish first and correctly giving the new words will win. I confidently cruise through the paper and I was the third to hand in the paper. I am certainly very proud as I didn't expect to be the third. So, we must wait for the teachers to mark and confirmed our win. My name was called, before I could paste a big smile on my face thinking that I won, I was literally knocked off the chair after being told I was OUT !!
I got all the words correct EXCEPT the word " rel ". I must have cruised too fast until I mistakenly wrote "rel" for "real" !! And hence, the title.
I was quite upset. Only one word separates me from the winning seats. On the way back home, all my mind could think of was that word " rel ". There is no such word. Too bad. I nearly got down the wrong station !! Thankfully, I didn't.
On my journey walking home from the station, it was quite a pleasant one actually. I was blown constantly by strong and cool breeze all the way home. It's like blowing away all my worries and problems. aaahhhh... Thank you Mother Nature.
But, hey, I'm a human. And human make mistakes right ?
I have back pains. OMG am I getting old ?

Family Day 2008 !!
WengChung here.
MBSSKL Family Day last Saturday was a blast ! Maybe my expectations are low or what but I felt it's the best as it's the 1st carnival I ever been to and at the same time involved in ! I had much fun despite being incredibly tired and sleepy !
The day before, I went down to Petaling Street with my classmates who are in the same group to buy everything we needed for Family Day. It's difficult buying prizes when u don't know who will be playing our games. So, we bought a lot of cute horoscope bookmarks. unbelivable amount of plastic fails (70 cent each haha), CD casings(2 only) and two 3D puzzles. The grand prize is a pen which I bought don't-know-how many donkeys years ago for Teachers Day but apparently didn't reach their hands hahha, so I was thinking this is the good time to dispose off this pen ^^. Then we start to cut holes out of the polystyrene boards and fly paper planes into them to test whether it's easy to fly in or not. Amazingly, we made holes which are quite hard to fly through as we put them in 'strategic' places haha
The next day, the BIG event! *gasp* It was the 1st time I was anxious to go to school haha. Didn't procrastinate after waking up coz all I was thinking was Family Day. When I reached, I found out the whole row of stalls beside us is also games stall, so competition between the stalls to attract customers will certainly be a hot one. Anyway, we had a head start coz I think my stall is the earliest to start business.
At 1st, I was really really worried coz not even a single soul come to play our game but then little did I know it will be a horrible day of attending to customers...Most of them look by the side of our stall, hesitated to play but then our Form 6 seniors came to support us and played the game. And from there everything is history. I can say 90% of our customers are kids and the rest are teenagers as well as adults !
Don't ever look down on kids, u know ? They can really fly paper planes through the holes, even the smallest one!! Overall, the kids dominated this game, flying paper planes into holes to collect points. Shame on you adults haha you're worst than kids !! >.< Even I can fly it through the smallest hole BUT that doesn't mean I'm still kid and fly paper planes in the class. But I'm curious. Is kids flying alot paper planes in class nowadays that they become so "pro" in it. I hope not haha.
Its very very nice to see the kids expression after they fly their paper planes. Most of them look so sad when they didn't score enough points to win. BUT because we are not cruel people, so we sort of move the game nearer to them !! hahha so every time there is a kid playing we would move the table which holds the board game closer to them so that they can just simply throw the planes in the holes ! But when there are adults or teenagers, we pull it back hahha...
" Wah, where can pull until so far !?!? where can like tat one !!" ( in a funny way)
" Just now they play so near, now we play so far !!"
" Just now the children play la..."
"I'm also children !" -.-"
So, basically we just pull and push the table back and forth whole day depending on customers. It's also funny to see the expression on the adults and teenager when we pull the table back when it's their turn. Everyone had a good laugh, even the customers.
As I was saying earlier, it was a horrible day attending to customers. But we leave that job to the girls coz they are more persuasive and attract more boys hahha. But poor me and another friend had to pick up each and every paper plane that the customers threw. The worst part is when the kids threw the paper planes so much far than the adults !! We had to stand and walk around to pick aeroplanes the entire day !! 8am to 3pm !! we can go nuts !
But it's worth it, coz it's very nice to see the kids cute and chubby face, smiling away and looking so innocent. When there are less customers, we took turns to walk around the carnival and spend our coupons. One of the biggest disappointment for me is I didn't managed to visit the haunted house =( sob sob...we don't have enough time as there're practically a lot of customer all the time at our stall. Overall, we did a superb job as our class earned around RM 800 but those food stalls reach RM1000 + And I felt cheated as I bought a drink which cost me RM4 !!! but ok la, for charity purpose mah.
Around 3pm plus, we cleaned up and drag our lazy and tired body back home.So so tired, as if I was doing exercise non-stop from 8 to 3. Oh ya, no one won the grand prize(pen) coz we set the points to high to reach. Oh well, I guess I will dispose it off next time.
Now ITS PICTURE TIME !! * jumping joyfully*
forgive me for the lousy editing haha >.<
our board game based on the theme space * FLY 2 UR PRIZE ! " - the name of our game
the left stalls are also games stall. the right ones are food stalls
the famous blueberry cheese stall under the blue canopy. On the background is my school.
Alright, only 4 pictures...Too busy to take more. Though our game may be lame, but it's not easy to win, u know ? Some of the kids came over and over again just to get better prize ler. I hope there will be such a great day in the future. Signing off for now ~

Family Day !
What's up everyone ? WengChung's here.
Over the weekend, I'm finally getting more and more relieved as the brakes to my roller coaster ride are active and everything slows down. Its July now, but I still felt it's still June. Time flies like superman.
Firstly, before I blog about my life, I would love to use this humble blog of mine and Choon Hui to advertise !! ITS the UPCOMING FAMILY DAY !!!!
I have been waiting for this for a very long long long time since I enter secondary school. The last Family Day was like 10 years ! OMG... ok, every class will have a stall to their own during that day. Each class have few groups also. My group is having games . All the $$$ will be used to buy chairs and tables for our new block. So, it's like a fund raising carnival la.
Do drop by my stall to play games ! ATTRACTIVE PRIZES ARE WAITING 4 U ! Anyway, its an aeroplane game. Since we're not allow to fly them in classes, now its the time to show ur skill in flying them =D And chess tournament is also on the same day. Some classes are having haunted house. I'm looking forward to it since I haven't been into one >.< There will also be shooting games, something like CS, minus the cool weapons and backgrounds. Who to bring that day? Friends, family, relatives, girlfriends, her family, relative and friends, neighbors, enemies, ur friends' friends, and most important of all BRING YOUSELF AND MONEY !!
Talking about $$, who wants to buy coupon can come and buy from me, I have 4 books,RM10 each. I'll try to snap some photos to put in the blog, since the blog is always full of words. ^^
*back to my life*
Things I noticed,
Econs teacher: love to call everyone by the name HERO
Maths teacher: she love to relate our form 6 topics with form 1,2,3 topics and even standard 3. " Very easy right ? Its exactly the same as standard 3(when we are 9 years old) ..." Everyone(who are 18 this year) nod their heads
Our Accounts teacher is very very cool, seriously. There's one time he went for a drink when we are not back from other classes. We thought he didn't came to school that day, but later he came in a very cool manner and say he went for a drink. LOL
A story told by our General Paper teacher. During Open Day, one of her students didn't got satisfying results. So, the father said this right in front of her," Your results so bad, next time you will end up to be a teacher" -.-"" My teacher replied the father, " Without teacher, you won't be an accountant today"
My mum broke her arm last week and she had to undergo an operation. I was shocked to find out but was relived that she was alright. She fall down at the stairs coz the tiles were slippery and she was wearing high heels. So, all of her colleagues were afraid to wear high heels now.
Saw the X-ray and there is 1 big screw and 6 or 7 small screws holding a steel plate. I was shocked to see it. It shows how serious it was. My mum said she is like a bionic woman now. Those steels will only be taken out only after a full recovery. If dun want to take out also can, but then she will trigger all the metal detectors ler...Beeeep beep beep...So better remove it.I wish she will recover soon coz I miss her cooking badly!!
There are also other events that I want to blog about but I have to sleep early tonight coz tomorrow is Family Day. It will be a tiring day... so, this post is TO BE CONTINUED...
Fly like a bird...
and now, let's have a post-mortem bout the subs i took.
Law - we considered it the ULTIMATE paper coz it's the toughest and the subject with the most stuff to read... can you believe i actually spent my last week of the semester break at college discussing law =_=' same went to Alexis pity both of us la...haha really hoped that our hard work pays off and the sad thing was... i screwed my last question!!! sobs sobs...
Biology - ah! didn't do so well for this paper also...haih...paper one was 'barely' okay... but the second one....haih...forget bout it...
Maths - the subject i wished i could just drop it... as i said, EVEN THE NAME SOUNDS PATHETIC AND TERRIBLE ... but...but...but... surprisingly enough i still can manage to do most of the questions which brought to my suspicion whether am i doing them correctly... =_=''
English Lit - the last paper for the week. well at 1st we were kinda nervous bout it coz we din even know how's the format be like since we are not exactly following the actual one...but thank goodness for me i sailed it through quite smoothly today despite i did not study much the day before. in fact it's not so bad as we tought earlier on.
ok enough bout exam stuff now that it's over...and Methodist Boys' School will be having a Family day which is kinda like a carnival. everyone is welcomed!!! do come and support us yea! anytime from morning till the evening.
well i guess that'sbout it and we are truly sorry for not changing the header yet..we'll change it as soon as possible!
till then, God Bless
