Old is Gold...

Good day people! Choon Hui’s here Ok… I’ve made a promise to blog with minimum grammar mistakes as I’ve been making a hell lot of them…ha-ha! Just a quick update on my life and as for uncle Siew… WHEN ON EARTH ARE YOU GOING TO BLOG AND WHEN ARE YOU CHANGING THE SONG OF THE BLOG? I’ve grew kinda sick and tired of it already lar…

Anyway… college life is definitely becoming more hectic than usual although I’m quite surprised that we didn’t really have many projects to do, or do we even have it before? Ha-ha… but study wise it’s getting a lot more taxing week after week especially for law and biology. I’m really wondering whether will I be able to get through the whole course until next year June. As for MATHS…heeheehee… I’m definitely dropping it and for the last day, I’ll be attending math class on Monday, and that’s about it. But of course Ms. Lim will never let us go that easily…hahaha xD we still have to attend her extra classes and come back for revision which is actually very nice of her to draw out a special schedule just for the two of us who’s dropping Advance math. Very lucky to have such dedicated lecturers like her. Literature is lot more fun, currently we’re doing Hamlet for pre-1800 play. Just spent RM 32.80 for Othello which I’ll be doing it next year. (Sobs sobs) my wallet feel so dry now… but for the sake of trading an A or B for exams, I think it’s worth the money.

Went out with Jian Fung, Elaine, Thiam Sang and Wei Keat yesterday. It was a great day out I should say. Everyone basically became ‘aunties’ due to the crowd that ‘snatched’ away all the good seats in cinemas and occupied the bowling alleys. We had lunch and basically spent an hout in Borders before this. For what? Chatting and more chatting ha-ha… then went for lunch then went to Pavillion AGAIN to the BOOK STORE haha… so I bought a book there and went for a cup (actually many cups ha-ha!) of drink at a typical all-American diner which I’ve forgotten the name. Ordered 4 large French-fries and we really caught up with each other’s lives pretty well. Old friends are still the best. That is what I can say =) Old is Gold....

hello people! Choon Hui's here...well guess what? i've finally managed to get some pics from the 'dreadful' BBQ night the other day...haha...however there's only a limited numbers of photos as some of them were too 'out of focus' as the person who handled my friend's camera apparently having some problems of holding the camera still...hahaha anyway although there's more to go but at least it's better than nothing =)
here we go:
now this is the so-called 'runway' for the Gods and Goddesses. notice the tiny little blue lights on the 'centre stage' haha! oh and it was 'made' of mahjong's paper and faxing paper! hahaha

now, the chaotic situation in the 'fitting room' haha it may not seemed so in this photo coz i've only got this but it certainly was worse than this in reality! (fabrics and pins flying every where...)

ok...i know i looked WEIRED but i just came running down last minute and i didn't have the time to even tie up the piece of cloth...until i have to hold the back of it with one hand and the other with the mic =_='''

ah hah! the two handsomely dressed CUPIDS!!! hahaha! how adorable they are with the banana leaves...heehee...my evil idea to let Eric(left) and Pang Yean(right) hold that =D

ah...Ganesa as the God of sun, Helios and Jessica as the Goddess of moon, Selene. take a look at their conversations:
Helious: without me, you people are nothing!!!
Selene: (hands gesturing up and down) at least i don't burnt myself up...
Helious: damn...please la...i'm so dark adi... =D

hahaha Pradhi as God of death, Hades and Clarissa the wife, Persephone, heeheehee!!! god these two are real hilarious!
Hades: you goat! i'm gonna damn you to the deepest damnation of hell!!!
Persephone: (cold and dead voice) this is the fifth dinner you just sent to hell...what are we supposed to eat?! (Hades backed-off like a mice) hahahahaha!!!!!!

oh haha this is Harry the God of wine and festivity, Bacchus with a errr...whisky bottle that i brought...hahaha
Bacchus: (walking like Jack Sparrow) life is certainly worthless without wine and WHISKY!!!Whisky anybody??? =))

and Sue Ann as the flower goddess Flora whereby she throws the petals crazily at the cupids after she gracefully introduced herself...hahaha

Mei Xin as Apollo! the God of divine artistry...with the very 'curly' drawn Bengali 'misai'! hahahaha xD!!!

ah and Mrs. Cupid, Psyche by Stef haha! lets take a look at how she 'dumped' the cupids haha Psyche: (to Pang Yean) hey darling....wait a minute...(looked at Eric) who is this? (running to left and right to take a closer look) which is my husband??? ah! who cares! i'm gonna find another cuter cupid!! ...

and at last! Bernard as Pan!!! the 'horny' Satyr (look at the 2 horns we made for him) hahaha!
Pan: (chasing nymphs as he runs out) oh...hi! i'm Pan! the Casanova of Greece! Ladies adore me! Women worshiped me!!! hey! come back!!!(continues chasing the nymphs) =D

the final parade. notice Harry and Bernard were clutching arms heeheehee...and oh yeah the tiny dumb bell infront of them that belong to Hercules hahaha

a moment of relieve =) everything is over! Gods and Goddesses from left to right last row: Harry, Alissa, Sue Ann, Kit Wai, Ganesa
second row L-R: Jessica, Alexis, Mei Xin, Elizabeth, Denise, Stef
Squatting: Pang Yean, Me =) (at last wif a tied up 'robe' haha), Eric

Champagne time!!!err..i mean sparkling juice time!!! haha (Kit Wai, me Bernard) being the only three men who served the ladies =)

So...that's about it! hope you readers enjoy what i've put forward so far. No doubt that it had been a tiring and exhausting event, but it was definitely moments worth experiencing =) till then, thank you once again for those who had participated in the preparations (you know who you are =D )

Yet again, the feelings set...

hello people Choon Hui's here.
i just can't figure it out why on earth these feelings just keep coming around. Once again i questioned myself, am i being sensitive or what? i'm trying my best to get rid of this feeling...but it just wouldn't go away...leave me alone...i pray for your mercy...sometimes, i do wonder is't because i've been thinking too much or am i too cautious bout every little bits and pieces of what people around me did, or what they said or how they act...and i just seemed to take everything so seriously. i was wondering can it be just a mere joke that some of them just so used to or, do they really meant what they said? hah...only God knows...gosh my mind had been clouded so thickly by emotions that are overwhelming. did i really made the right choice to come in to this college? what if...here i go again...aaarrgghh!!! i can't bear it anymore! but...at the end, i know that no matter what, those thorns and spikes will eventually be swallowed and guys sorry for all these ramblings but i just need a place to release and it's only through words that i can really express myself better.

another thing, ever since i met this person, lets call this person A. i mean the very moment i met A, there's this peculiar sense that clings on to the deepest corner in my heart that never in my life i will even thought of this kind of feeling. it's just so wrong...so wrong...maybe i shall never meet A and i shall just go back and study form 6...or maybe i shall just go and pursue the opportunity offered to me the other day...

anyway...BBQ nite was a hell of a night to some of us...about or 'fashion parade' it was a total screwed-up, at least the models did very well and i think i just screwed up the whole speech thing. everything was in a mess, everything was done last minute but at least we managed to survive. and poor us, my friend, Kit Wai and me were like machines working non-stop since yesterday afternoon and it was really havoc during the last few minutes of the props before the performance to begin..my goodness, i think it was worse than the backstage of the other fashion shows we watched on TV and i din even tie or pin up my 'robe' until i have to hold it with one hand behind my back and one hand with the mic. and we have to pack up the 'remains' left by these people and for the whole evening we didn't even have any food just a few cups of drinks and the sparkling juice that i brought. however it was quite an experience and seriously i still thanked everyone that was involved and boy i can never forget the moments in the Students Council Room where one after another was calling out of me CHOON HUI, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO WEAR? CHOON HUI WHERE ARE THE PINS? KIT WAI PIN ME UP, KIT WAI GIVE ME THAT CLOTH...after the whole thing, we were really exhausted..basically 'dried up' i can even say that we sweat more than we sit...hahaha...but still i'll definitely treasure the time we worked together as a team and without these people around me, the show will not be as good as we think...and unfortunately, my apologies as i've promised some pics, but i just din have the time to go around taking pictures as even i had a singing performance from the very beginning...but i'll try my best to get some pics from my college mates...it'll definitely be a better night if i never get myself involved in this whole thing. FIRST AND THE LAST!!!

Can A Family Man With Salary RM3,000 Survive In Malaysia ?

WengChung here.I received this email from a friend. Quite true and kinda funny. Tell me what u think after reading.

Can a family man with Salary RM3,000 survive in Malaysia?
Let's do some simple calculations here.

In Malaysia , the average family income is RM3,000 /month (where father works, mother doesn't).
I understand there are many families whose monthly income does not reach RM3,000, but, to make things simple, let's take RM3,000 as the figure. Ok lah, right?

Okay, let's start rolling with a family which has Papa, Mama, 1 daughter and 1 son. Ngam-ngam ....

Calculation starts...
Electricity and water bill: RM100
(No air-con, No home theatre, No water heater ... ok?)

Phone bill ( Telekom): RM100

Meals for a happy family: RM775
(3 meals on RM25/day, RM25 for 4 persons...?)

Papa makan / teh-tarik during working hrs: RM155
(RM5/day, RM5 .. can eat what?)

Car repayment: RM400 (A proton saga aeroback, 7 yrs repayment)

Petrol (living in city, traffic-jam): RM300
(go to work, bring son to school, only can afford one car running)

Insurance:RM650 (kids, wife and myself)

House repayment: RM750
(low cost housing repayment for 30 yrs, retired still have to work to pay!)

Tuition: RM80
(got that cheap meh? i don't think so)

Older children pocket money @ school: RM20
(RM1/day, eat bread?)

School fees: RM30 (enough ah?)

School books and etc: RM100
(always got extra to pay in school)

Younger children milk powder: RM50
(cannot have the DHA, BHA, PHA one, expensive)

Miscellaneous: RM100 (shampoo, rice, sauce, toilet paper)

Oh wait!!! I have to stop here, so...

No Astro,
no movie @ cinema,
no DVD,
no CD,
no online,
cannot KFC,
cannot McDonald,
cannot go Park walk during weekend (petrol expensive),
no chit chat on phone with grandparents, and etc...

Let's use a calculator to total up... WALAO EH! Shit! RM3,610 already...

EPF belum potong, income tax lagi........oledi RM3,610 ....

How to survive lah tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian ???

Our Deputy Prime Minister asked us to change lifestyle? How to change? Don't eat? Don't work? Don't send children to school and study?
Besides that, I believe in Malaysia population, there are millions of rakyat Malaysia which still don't earn RM3,000/month!!!
What is this? Inilah Malaysia Boleh... Sorry ... it should be Malaysians Boleh , because we're still alive and kicking!!

So take care ! Have a great weekend !
